Terms & Conditions Summary
 

​Day Two (Toinen Päivä), doing business as Day Two Travel, operates as an independent travel consultancy. Below is a brief overview of how we work together. You can view the full legal document from the PDF link below.

Our Role as Your Advisor

​​​We act as an intermediary between you and travel suppliers (hotels, airlines, tour operators). While we curate and facilitate your bookings, the suppliers themselves are responsible for the actual travel services.​​

 

Our Partnership with Fora Travel

 

Day Two (Toinen Päivä) operates as an independent travel business in partnership with Fora Travel, Inc. While Fora provides industry-leading technology and a global network of supplier relationships, Day Two is solely responsible for your personalized service and itinerary planning. Fora Travel acts as our secure payment and host agency platform and is not a direct party to the travel services provided by third-party suppliers.

Professional Fees & Payments​

 

Booking Services: Many bookings are covered by supplier commissions at no extra cost to you.​

 

Direct Payments: Most travel costs are paid directly to the supplier or via Fora Travel’s secure portal.

 

Planning Fees: ​For complex Multi-Destination Journeys or non-commissionable travel (such as certain regional aviation), we may charge a professional planning fee (starting from $50). These fees are agreed upon in advance, are non-refundable, and are invoiced securely through Fora Travel, Inc.

 

Pricing & Currency: We will agree on fees in writing before work begins. While we may discuss quotes in EUR or other currencies, final booking costs are often processed in the supplier's local currency (usually USD in the United States).

Your Responsibilities

Accuracy: You must ensure all names match your passport exactly and that your travel documents (visas/passports) are valid.

Aviation & Logistics: For flight bookings, please note that airlines may change schedules. We act as your advocate to navigate these changes, but we are not liable for the carrier's operations.​

 

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Day Two (Toinen Päivä) is not liable for costs arising from cancellations, medical emergencies, or "Force Majeure" events.

Reporting Issues: If an issue arises during your trip, please notify both the supplier and us within 24 hours so we can immediately advocate for a resolution.

​Privacy & Governing Law​

​We are committed to GDPR and EU data protection standards. We only collect data necessary to complete your bookings and share it securely with relevant partners. All operations are governed by Finnish law, and any disputes are handled according to the regulations of Finland.
